DWP Employment Provision Commissioning Strategy

The Department for Work and Pensions is developing a strategic commissioning approach for employment support services, including funding arrangements with devolved administrations and coordination of employment provision across government. The policy addresses skills gaps (particularly in digital and technology) and involves multi-year workforce planning forecasts from departments and arm's-length bodies. Current status involves publication of Connect to Work statistics and ongoing coordination with the Cabinet Office on government-wide workforce strategy.
