Withdrawal Agreement Joint Committee

The Withdrawal Agreement Joint Committee is the UK-EU governance body established under the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement to oversee implementation and resolve disputes on citizens' rights, separation issues, and the Northern Ireland Protocol. Led by the Cabinet Office and Department for Business and Trade, it meets regularly (most recently April 2025) to make binding decisions on post-Brexit arrangements and publishes annual reports on its work.
