Creating a UK Airspace Design Service

The Civil Aviation Authority and Department for Transport are establishing a dedicated UK Airspace Design Service to modernise air traffic management and airspace utilisation. The initiative involves modifications to the National Air Traffic Services Limited (NERL) licence terms and changes to air navigation directions and guidance under the Transport Act 2000. The project is currently active with regulatory and operational frameworks being developed through the Airspace and Noise Engagement Group.
