In response to: Simpler recycling in England: additional policies
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is implementing simpler recycling standards in England through the Separation of Waste (England) Regulations 2025, supported by the Plastics Bill and Waste Recycling (End Use Register) Bill. The policy standardises household recycling collections and tracking of recycled materials to improve recycling rates and reduce contamination.
