Industrial Emissions: Best Available Techniques

The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs is establishing UK Best Available Techniques (BAT) standards to regulate industrial emissions and environmental impacts from manufacturing and industrial sectors. The framework replaces EU BAT directives post-Brexit and involves consultation with industry on proportionate, partnership-based regulation. Current status includes consultation on proposed UK BAT standards and sector-specific guidance.
