HFSS Online Advertising Restrictions

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport and Department of Health and Social Care are restricting online advertising of high fat, salt and sugar (HFSS) foods, particularly to children, through proposed legislation and application of the nutrient profiling model. The policy aims to reduce childhood obesity by limiting promotional practices for unhealthy food products.
