Delivering Gigabit Connections in New Builds is a policy initiative led by DCMS and HM Treasury to mandate gigabit-capable broadband infrastructure in new residential and commercial developments. The scheme is currently active with draft Building Regulations (Approved Document R) and recent government response to consultation on implementation requirements for developers.
