Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Changes
The Department for Transport and Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency are reforming the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) requirements for HGV, bus and coach drivers, including changes to testing, licensing, and international transport regulations. This involves amendments to goods vehicle regulations, MOT service charges, and operator licensing frameworks. The policy is currently active with draft regulations published for 2024–2026.
