Diversionary and Community Cautions

The Ministry of Justice is developing a modern youth justice system with emphasis on diversionary and community cautions for low-level offenders, including a proposed duty on police forces to establish diversion schemes. A draft Code of Practice is being developed to set minimum standards for diversion schemes across England and Wales.
