Decarbonisation Readiness Guidance

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and Environment Agency are developing decarbonisation readiness guidance to support delivery of the Seventh Carbon Budget (2038-2042). The guidance addresses sector-specific delivery plans, policy instruments, funding mechanisms, and infrastructure sequencing needed to achieve emissions reductions across the economy.
