Dangerous Dogs Act 1991

The thread tracks the modern UK dangerous-dogs regime: the framework Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and the cascade of 2023–2024 statutory instruments under s.1 of the Act that designated the XL Bully breed type, prohibited its possession from 1 February 2024, and operationalised compensation and exemption schemes in England and Wales (with parallel orders in Scotland and Northern Ireland).
