The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is reforming UK construction product regulations to establish a single regulator and modernise safety requirements. The reform follows the General Safety Requirement (GSR) framework and aims to streamline the current regulatory landscape through consultation on a new Single Construction Regulator model. The policy is currently active with a white paper and green paper published to guide stakeholder input.
