Licensing of specialist private primate keepers in England

Defra are launching this consultation to seek your views on the introduction of a specialist private primate keeper licensing regime in England, through regulations made under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. This consultation will seek views on the proposed specialist private primate keeper licensing regime, as well as the new primate-keeping welfare standards.
