Law Commission summary consultation on evidence in sexual offences prosecutions
This is a public consultation by the Law Commission for England and Wales. The Law Commission is conducting a review of the law, guidance, and practice relating to the trial process in prosecutions of sexual offences and considering the need for reform in order to increase the understanding of consent and sexual harm and improve the treatment of victims while ensuring that defendants receive a fair trial. For more information about this project, click here . We recommend that consultees read the summary of the consultation paper available here before responding to the consultation. The full consultation paper is also available here and provides full detail of all proposals. Consultees do not need to answer all the questions if they are only interested in some aspects of the consultation. About the Law Commission: The Law Commission
