We want to know what you think about our plans for reforming agricultural tenancy law in England. These changes will make agricultural tenancies fit for the future allowing tenants and landlords to adapt to changes such as accessing new schemes.

We’re also calling for evidence on whether:

  • current restrictions on agricultural mortgages are a barrier to letting farmland
  • there is a need to provide additional protections for farmers against the repossession of agricultural land
