Fire Safety Act 2021

The primary Act of Parliament (2021 c. 24) that clarifies the application of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to multi-occupied residential buildings, explicitly bringing external walls, cladding, balconies, and flat entrance doors within scope of fire risk assessments. It received Royal Assent on 29 April 2021 and commenced on 16 May 2022.
