Taxi and private hire vehicle licensing: government response to independent report

The Department for Transport's formal government response to the Task and Finish Group's independent report on taxi and PHV licensing, published February 2019. It accepted key recommendations and committed to legislating for national minimum standards, national enforcement powers, and a national licensing database — directly upstream of the Draft Taxi and PHV Bill.
