The House of Commons Transport Committee inquiry into licensing standards for taxis and private hire vehicles, which gathered written submissions (deadline 8 September 2025) and held multiple oral evidence sessions from October 2025 onwards. The Committee Chair explicitly noted the inquiry would feed into pre-legislative scrutiny of the Draft Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Bill announced in the King's Speech.
