Rail services and infrastructure

In this session the Committee will examine the Department for Transport’s work on rail, including the Government's plans for rail reform, major infrastructure projects such as HS2 and the Transpennine Route Upgrade, and the performance of Network Rail and train operating companies. Some committees take evidence from certain officeholders or organisations on a regular basis outside the structure of an inquiry.
