In Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland), driving tests are carried out by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Some organisations are allowed to carry out tests for their own staff. This consultation is seeking views on allowing:
- NHS ambulance services and foundation trusts to carry out driving tests for their staff
- emergency services and the Ministry of Defence to carry out driving tests for each other
