The Animals, Food, Plant Health, Plant Propagating Material and Seeds (Miscellaneous Amendments etc.) Regulations 2022

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (b), (d), (e) and (g)) as a result of the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. They also correct minor errors in respect of amendments already made to retained EU law.
