These identity assurance principles support the delivery of GOV.UK One Login

The principles were developed independently of the government by a group of representatives from charities, academia and other external stakeholders with an interest in digital identity.

They were originally developed by the Privacy and Consumer Advisory Group (PCAG). The principles were reviewed by the One Login Inclusion and Privacy Advisory Group (OLIPAG), which was an independent advisory group to GOV.UK One Login.
