Independent Police Complaints Commission: triennial review

The IPCC is a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB), whose primary statutory purpose is to secure and maintain public confidence in the police complaints system in England and Wales.

The review contains information on:

• the legal status and classification, organisational structure, and partnership working of the IPCC
• the IPCC’s arrangements for control and governance, and the organisation’s performance and capacity for delivering more effectively and efficiently
