Implementation of the Collective Rights Management Directive

The CRM Directive aims to modernise and improve the functioning of collective management organisations, and encourage the multi-territorial licensing of rights in musical works for online use. The government has launched a consultation on implementation of the directive, focusing on the options for implementation, the discretionary provisions, and the overall costs of implementation.
