Consultation seeking views about plans for a new harmonised transition altitude of 18,000 feet above sea level. The consultation seeks views about whether plans:

  • are sufficiently detailed
  • are representative of the operational environment
  • have included sufficient industry feedback

Follows a 2012 consultation on the principle of raising the UK’s various transition altitude values to a harmonised value inside and outside of controlled airspace.
