The government response to the Women and Equalities Committee report on transgender equality.

On 14 January 2016 the Women and Equalities Committee published its report on transgender equality. The report contained 35 recommendations in relation to a wide range of areas including cross-government strategy, the Gender Recognition Act 2004, the Equality Act 2010, NHS services and on tackling everyday transphobia. The government has now published its response.
