UK airspace policy reform impact assessments

These assessments provide detailed analysis and outline the estimates of the costs and benefits to industry of the various policies considered as part of consultation on the reform of UK airspace.

The Regulatory Policy Committee response is their response to the amended DfT impact assessment on ‘Clarifying altitude based priorities during airspace changes’.

The ‘DfT burden assessment’ provides details on the net additional cost of any potential burden for airspace proposals placed on local authorities (including parishes, police and fire and rescue authorities) by central government.
