Road vehicles must have GB type approval before they can go on sale in Great Britain.

This consultation seeks views on whether GB type approval should:

  • permit Euro 6e emissions standards for cars and light goods vehicles as an alternative to the current Euro 6d requirement
  • accept certain other other safety and environmental standards
