There are no statutory requirements under the National Security and Investment Act 2021 for the government to publish information about individual acquisitions prior to a final order being made. The government is, however, required to publish notice of the fact that a final order has been made.
A final order is a legal binding document imposing conditions on an acquisition to mitigate national security risks. The government may also impose a final order prohibiting or unwinding an acquisition.
