Merger investigation outcomes
Outcomes of merger investigations carried out by the CMA under the Enterprise Act 2002.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigates certain potential mergers and assesses how they could impact competition in the UK.
We can only investigate a merger if it meets certain legal criteria. If it does, we can take evidence-based, proportionate action to protect competition, deliver growth and promote better outcomes for UK consumers.
