The ‘regional connectivity report’ looks at the current ‘connectivity picture’ of the UK. It considers how well UK airports are connected to domestic and international destinations and how easy it is for UK citizens to access domestic airports by surface travel.

The ‘Wider economic impacts of regional air connectivity’ document examines the wider impacts and benefits of regional air connections. It considers how the impacts differ depending on the type of government support offered for regional air connectivity.

The Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA’s) report looks at the competition impacts of the current slot allocation regulations for airlines. It examines how different methods for allocating slots could lead to improved competition between airlines.

These reports have been published alongside the Aviation 2050 — the future of UK aviation consultation and additional supporting documents.
