Strengthening leaseholder protections over charges and services

We want your views on proposals to implement aspects of Part 4 of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 and future reform on leasehold charges and services.

We are consulting onhow to implement these new requirements through secondary legislation, which will help leaseholders to better scrutinise and challenge unfair fees and charges, as well as the reasonableness of the services they pay for proposals for further reform related to the charges leaseholders, and homeowners on freehold estates, pay and services they receive.
