Building Safety Regulator - Resident Panel Member Recruitment and Resident Panel Technical Sub-Committee Member Recruitment

The Building Safety Act 2022 created the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) in England. The regulator is a part of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The Act required BSR to set up a Residents' Panel (the panel) to advise the regulator and to ensure residents are placed at the heart of the new regulatory regime. The panel has been running for over a year and we are looking now to build on this and recruit new members to join. We are seeking applications now from current residents of high-rise buildings (HRBs) who would like to be considered for a position on the panel. We are also interested to hear from private landlords who are interested in joining. We will maintain a panel with a broad mix of HRB residents from different locations and housing types, including social housing, private rent, and leasehold owners.
