HCLG Committee: Pre-legislative scrutiny of the draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill

On 27 January 2026, the Government published a draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill for pre-legislative scrutiny; the Government has asked the HCLG Committee to investigate whether the proposed reforms will be effective.
