Written Ministerial Statement: Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 – implementation plans

The Government aims to commence Parts 1, 2 and 5 of the Act in December 2024 or January 2025. In April 2025, the Government expects to commence Part 3 of the Act, which provides for the consumer enforcement regimes.
