The government’s flood and coastal erosion risk management policy statement includes a commitment to reform local flood and coastal erosion risk planning.

Our ambition is that every area of England will have a more strategic and comprehensive plan that support long-term local action and investment by 2026.

The aim of the group is to provide recommendations, advice and views on local flood risk management planning reform to inform future government policy.
