This paper looks at the impacts, costs and benefits of Making Tax Digital (MTD) for smaller VAT-registered businesses with taxable turnover below the VAT threshold (£85,000) and businesses and landlords subject to Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA) with turnover of £10,000 or above.

It also brings out in further detail what MTD might look like in practice for businesses and individuals eligible for MTD ITSA.
