Decision No.1/2021 of the Joint Committee established by the Separation Agreement of 18 December 2020.

The Separation Joint Committee adopted this decision on 27 May 2021. It amends Part 1 of Annex 1 of the Separation Agreement to reflect the EU’s Administrative Commission for the Coordination of Social Security Systems decisions. These decisions have also been incorporated into the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement.

The Decision of the Joint Committee ensures the Separation Agreement reflects the latest position under the EEA Agreement. These decisions are about the interpretation of relevant social security coordination, including on data processing and exchange. They do not affect the rights that the Separation Agreement provides for.
