The explanatory memorandum is about a European Commission delegated directive amending the EU Tobacco Products Directive which will withdraw certain exemptions in respect of heated tobacco products and proposes to regulate these products on a similar footing as cigarettes and hand rolling tobacco.
It was submitted by Maria Caulfield MP, Minister of State for Health, Department of Health and Social Care.
