Request for information about risk management evaluations of substances proposed as Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)

Collecting information for risk management evaluations for 2 chemical substances proposed as POPs to the UN’s POP Review Committee.

POPs are substances that persist in the environment, accumulate in living organisms and pose a risk to our health and the environment.

The Stockholm Convention’s POPs Review Committee (POPRC) has requested information to assist the with drafting of the Risk Management Evaluations (Annex F) for 2 substances:

  • UV-328
  • Dechlorane Plus.

This information will help determine the need for any specific exemptions and acceptable purposes. These substances have been proposed for listing under the convention as POPs.
