The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government is required by the Cities and Local Government Devolution Act 2016 to publish an annual report on devolution setting out progress on this agenda.
This is the seventh annual report and brings together information about devolution agreements reached between government and areas up to 31 March 2022, as well as financial resources devolved to mayoral combined authorities over the year.
