Improving the way that energy system data is shared is necessary to decarbonise our power sector by 2030.
In this response to the digital spine feasibility study, the government describes its view of the study and its recommendations. It sets out commitments for the government, Ofgem and the Energy System Operator (ESO) to progress the development of a data sharing infrastructure for the energy system.
