Forensic Science Regulator draft code of practice 2025
This code of practice concerns the performance of forensic science activities in England and Wales.
The Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021 requires the Regulator to prepare and publish a code of practice about the performance of forensic science activities in England and Wales. Version 2 of the code builds on version 1 which came into force in October 2023, and has been presented to the UK Parliament pursuant to section 3(3)(b) of the Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021.
A draft code was published for consultation in February 2024.
